Fashion Police

It says that Fashion Police will come back to our TV's on Jan. 12, without Joan Rivers , commencing with the Golden Globes Coverage.

I am happy for this show to be back again but I know that it will never be the same without Joan River's special jokes.

She was one of a kind.

Heya!

It's been a while since I posted on the blog and a lot of things have been happening.
I came to the point where I just want to focus on enjoying my holidays here in Madeira, where my heart, my family is.
I left the UK knowing how upset my boss is after I tell her that I was thinking about finding another job, as I am not 100% happy there. And I am going back in a week, knowing that I have an interview for a place in the hospital. I really hope everything goes as I expect.
For now, I will focus on my holidays and my beautiful family!

Discovering Blackpool

I have been living in Blackpool for 1 month, 2 weeks and 4 days. It is quite a long time but I am still discovering Blackpool. There is not a looot of things to see and visit but the little things that Blackpool has, are simply beautiful. I was always used to have the sea as an everyday-view so the fact that I have the sea right here next to me is so good!

I could have this for Christmas #1

Christmas time is coming! And I just decided to show you what I would like to have for Christmas, just in case my boyfriend checks my blog. (Am I smart or not? haha)

1 - A beautiful big and cozy coat from Zara. Really nice for this cold weather that's coming to the UK.

2 - UGG. I just loved them. And I will for everyday of my life. They are so comfortable and warm. Doesn't need to be originals, alright?

3 - Naked2 palette. With the basic colors for an everyday look. Any girl that loves make up should have one of these. Beautiful!

4 - Canon 600D. Just to take beautiful pictures to post in the blog, right?

It's missing a lot of things that I would love to have for Christmas, this is just a beginning! And keep in mind that I am just doing this to help my boyfriend choosing my Christmas gift. Haha

Note to boyfriend: I don't need to have all of them but... at least one of these would be great Love! Or something similar. Love you lots!

How to get out of bed and get dressed?

After two days off like I had, one question keeps coming up in my mind: how will I get out of bed and get dressed tomorrow? That's a great question and the answer his: I will do what I do everyday when I need to get up early.

So... what do I usually do? Two simple things that make my life a little bit easier:

I set the alarm clock 15 mins before the time I really what to get out of bed. That's a start. I always do that. If I need to be up at 7am, I set the alarm clock for 6:45am. That gives me 15 minutes to come to reality, to wake up and run out of bed at 7. Yes, run - or else my bed will pull me back to her!

After that and still a little bit sleepy, I just go into the bathroom and wash my face with cold water. Doesn't matter if it's 0ªC outside (or inside), just do it. That wakes me up even more.

And that's it. After this I am all fresh and shiny, ready for another day. Just need to put my uniform, make up, have breakfast and go to work.

Sometimes are harder than others but, it works for me!

Since I’ve started a new life far away from my homeland and family, i thought it would be a great idea to start a new blog, with my new everyday language. So here it his! Welcome to my new blog, “Love, Lisa“.

I am Lisa, a 22 year old that moved from Madeira to Blackpool to start her new life. I am a nurse, hard worker and happy person. I love my job but I also love writing, lifestyle, beauty and all those girly things that every woman loves. So, this is my idea: to share my lifestyle, my thoughts and some of my deepest secrets in this blog. I will do my best so that you have the need to read my blog everyday to know whats going on.
